The inspiration behind this song is from the first time I visited NYC. It is also partly inspired by the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" (As you might be able to tell from the lyrics). Visiting NYC for the first time was an incredible experience. It felt like a movie to me. I'd never been surrounded by so many tall buildings and lights before. Being able to explore and see so many different sights in just one city was incredible. It truly does feel like no one ever sleeps. The mindset I had for this song was to create a vision of never losing your youth. Take chances, take risks, you never know what those risks could lead you to. Those risks could bring you to the love of your life, a life long friend, unforgettable times or just a great night. So, that's what inspired this song. The beautiful city life and experience of NYC mixed with taking risks and never losing your youth. Still Young
